Bakewell

This painting encompasses the iconic features of Bakewell, the bridge over the River Wye and the church on the hill with it’s octagonal tower. We came across this view while walking up the road to the old station on the Monsal Trail, unfortunately today some of the view is obscured by trees and buildings but there are old photographs that helped fill in the details.
